 Dear Parent/ Guardian:

This afternoon we received notice that a Hartsfield student and a Hartsfield staff tested positive for COVID-19

The Leon County Department of Health has advised that there are no concerns for exposure at this time and no further actions will be required.

These exposures, unfortunate as they are, highlight the importance of everyone doing their part to minimize the spread of this virus: stay home when sick or while waiting for Covid-19 test results, keep things clean and sanitized, utilize proper hand washing, wear masks, and maintain social distancing.

We take our commitment to your child’s safety as well as our staff and faculty’s safety seriously and are working closely with the Leon County Department of Health to follow CDC guidelines and best practices during this time.

If you have questions about COVID-19 you can call 866-779-6121.

If you have questions about Leon County School’s Covid-19 Protocols please visit www.LeonSchools.net/reopen

Sincerely,

R.M Blackwell-Flanagan
