Good afternoon GMS Community,

This is just a friendly reminder that testing begins next week!  Below is the schedule for our DA students (please note that Brick and Mortar students have a separate schedule).

Digital Academy students will need to report to the front office on their specific testing days by 9:15AM. Parents will need to drop the students from the front office. Digital Academy students must have their own transportation to and from campus on testing days. Students WILL be REQUIRED to wear a mask at all times while they are on campus and will be provided a mask break as needed during the testing period. Additionally, Digital Academy students will need to have their temperature read once they arrive in the front office. Once students are complete with testing, they will contact parent(s)/guardian to be picked up. Students should bring a light jacket, a bottle of water and/or beverage, and a light snack. Digital Academy students will be provided lunch during the lunch period if the particular assessment that they are completing runs into the lunch hour.

Some of the test(s) your student is scheduled for are designed to be taken over two days (one session per day) to prevent testing fatigue (except for ELA Writing which is one session). However, in an effort to reduce the number of in-person testing days for your student, districts and schools have been granted permission by FDOE to offer the option of administering two sessions in the same day, with a ten-minute break in between sessions. If you do not wish for your student to use this option, please contact [log in to unmask]
