Dear Riley Community,

We received notice that one of our staff members has tested positive for COVID-19. The contact tracing investigation determined that there were no significant exposures at Riley within 72 hours of testing. Therefore, the Department of Health will not be contacting any families as it is not necessary for any other student or staff member to quarantine at this time.

We want to continue to highlight the importance of everyone doing their part to minimize the spread of this virus: keep your students home when they are sick, keep your students home while anyone in the household is awaiting COVID-19 test results, keep things clean and sanitized, utilize proper hand washing, wear masks, and maintain social distancing.

We take our commitment to everyone’s safety seriously and are working closely with the Leon County Health Department to follow CDC guidelines and best practices during this time. For more information about the student and family protocol please visit https://www.leonschools.net/Page/49637. Health and Safety is our highest priority. If you have further questions please do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you and take care.
