Good Afternoon Sabal Palm Families,

As you may be aware, the National Weather Service is forecasting a wintry mix of weather for the Leon County area overnight and into the morning tomorrow. Superintendent Hanna and staff have been monitoring the weather all day. Just now they concluded a call with the National Weather Service and the Leon County Emergency Management Office. Experts are predicting icy conditions at precisely the time our schools will be welcoming students back from winter break.

In an abundance of caution and with the safety of our students and staff in mind we have made the decision to CLOSE all Leon County Schools for tomorrow Wednesday, January 3, 2018.

All afterschool activities will be cancelled as well.

Be safe, stay warm.
