Welcome back!  Here we are in the fourth nine weeks already, such a busy time of year! J

 

v  Incoming 6th graders!  The school choice office has begun sending out letters regarding magnet applications so you should be receiving those letters very shortly. Our Cobb letters will be sent out this week.  Thank you so much for your interest in our program! J

v  6th grade Magnet SeaWorld trip final payments were due before Spring Break… if you have not already made your final payment of $100, please send that in this week!  We are making final preparations this week so we can let all of our wonderful chaperones know just how many we will need… thank you for your patience!

v  Our 7th grade Magnet Disney trip was a great success!  Thank you to Mrs. Gass and students for wonderful memories!

v  This nine weeks we will be doing some state testing but mostly we will be ensuring that your students are ready for next year’s classes.  Teachers will be making recommendations about what math and science classes your children should be taking next year. Please know that this is based on many factors, including a math prognosis tests, grades throughout the year, study skills, work ethic, work habits and interest in learning.  More information will be coming home in the coming weeks about this process. J
