As we ease toward the end of the first 9 weeks, I want to remind readers of a few important dates/events that are coming. See below: There will not be school tomorrow, Wednesday October 12, 2016, in observance of the Fall holiday. School will resume on Thursday, October 13, 2016. Volleyball 1A Championship - Nims vs. TBS: 6:00 PM at Godby High School PTO/SAC meeting scheduled Tuesday, October 18, 2016. We will begin at 6:00 PM. Location - Media Center The end of the 1st 9-weeks is Thursday, October 20, 2016. Students should really be focusing on the finishing the grading period on a high note. Friday, October 21, 2016, is a Teacher Planning/In-Service Day. Students will not come to school. Leon County Schools (LCS) will be open to the public. Report cards go home Wednesday, November 2, 2016. Please contact the school if your child has not brought their report card home. We can provide another copy. We are also very excited about the first newsletter that will be going home with students Thursday, October 20, 2016. The newsletter will also be available by viewing the school website. Title I Parent Involvement Science Night is scheduled for Thursday, October 27, 2016, Time: 6:00 PM, Location: Gymnasium. Food will be served in the cafeteria at the close of the evening.
