Dear Sabal Palm Community,

Leon County’s volunteer fire departments invite you, your faculty and staff, and your students and their families to join us, on Saturday, October 1, for the 19th Annual Fire Truck Roundup.

The event begins at 10:00 AM in the parking lot shared by Tallahassee Memorial’s Northeast Emergency Center, the Leon County Tax Collector, and the Growing Room Child Development Center (1271 Metropolitan Boulevard – Thomasville Road at I-10).

Hosted by the six (6) Leon County volunteer fire departments and VolunteerLEON, the event will highlight the theme for 2016’s Fire Prevention Week - Don’t Wait – Check the Date! Replace Smoke Alarms Every 10 Years. Free food, health screenings, 9v batteries, music, activities for children, and other “goodies” will be provided at no cost. Featured will be the volunteer firefighters who serve Leon County.
