Parents,

Have you heard about the FREE children's festival coming to Tallahassee's Cascades Park this April 11th and 12th? That's right, the Word of South Music and Literature Festival will be showcasing children's performers both national and local. You will find totally fun (and totally free!) things to do all weekend long!

Saturday, April 11th, Kids Rule! Non-stop national children's performances run from 9:30 to 3:30 on the main performance stages. In addition to the Saturday main stage performances, the Story Fort tent will be open all weekend (Saturday 9-4, Sunday 10-4). The Story Fort will feature local children's performers every half hour, an activity table led by local artists, and free face painting. If you love imaginative stories that remind you the world is playful, whimsical, and mysterious, you will love the Word of South Story Fort.

To learn more about the schedule and the amazing performers, visit www.wordofsouthfestival.com/kids. You can also learn more about the rest of the festival - there is something for everyone at Word of South. It's not just for kids!

Volunteers very much needed! If you are a student who needs volunteer hours or someone who loves to contribute to cultural events in Tallahassee, please visit http://www.wordofsouthfestival.com/volunteer/ and sign up.
