Internet Essentials is a wonderful program to get internet in the homes of our families.  Griffin was the host site to “Kick the Original Campaign Off” several years ago. It is wonderful to see it is still giving to our communities!

Internet Essentials – What you need to know!

While participating in Internet Essentials, families receive:

Families that apply for Internet Essentials by September 20^th, 2014 may receive up to 6 months of complimentary home Internet service from Internet Essentials.

Internet Essentials Eligibility Requirements:

To qualify for $9.95 a month Internet service and a low-cost computer, families must meet all these criteria:

1.) Be located where Comcast offers Internet service

2.) Have at least one child eligible to participate in the National School Lunch Program

3.) Have not subscribed to Comcast Internet service within the last 90 days

4.) Does not have outstanding Comcast debt that is under one year old

Easy Steps to Apply:

1.) Start the application online or over the phone (1-855-8-INTERNET or 1-855-846-8376)

2.) Once complete, Comcast will send you a copy of your application to sign and provide proof of eligibility.

3.) Sign the application, include proof of eligibility, and return it to Comcast

4.) Once Comcast receives the application, we will review it and notify the customer if they've been approved

5.) If approved, customers will receive a Welcome Kit in the mail with everything they need to get connected to the Internet!
