And speaking of social media

The middle years are a time when our students are learning and experimenting with social skills as well as their academia.  Have you heard of Ask.fm?  Social media users who have an account with Ask.fm, may receive anonymous questions or comments posted to their account.  As a matter of fact, the ONLY way to receive a post is anonymously.  Please have a frank conversation with your child about Ask.fm, Kik, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, etc.  Parents should have access to all passwords.  Also, most cell phone companies give you the option of allowing you to choose the hours (times) of usage.  As spring is springing into action, your assistance and diligence is appreciated as we continued to help your child to be successful.

More on media, Cobb in the news!

We had a very pleasant surprise visit from WCTV today as they asked to spotlight Cobb Middle School  If you watch the news tonight, you are very likely to see our favorite principal, Mrs Tonja Fitzgerald, being interviewed.  (You might even recognize some familiar feet!)  Check it out!
