We discovered that the Pinpoint system is sending out repeated emails to parents who signed up for email notifications.  These emails are being sent at a rate of about one a minute resulting in hundreds of emails to parents who signed up for this service.

 

We have reached Pinpoint and they have brought the Pinpoint site down until the problem can be identified and fixed.  Unfortunately, even with the site down all the emails that were sent and built up in the queue are still going out.
