Oak Ridge Parents/Guardians,

DOE has provided parent/guardian letters from Commissioner Robinson.  With the transitions that took place this year, including reporting scores on the new FCAT 2.0 scale and the more rigorous scoring procedures for FCAT Writing, they felt parents would have questions about these changes.  These letters are designed to help explain the new standards and changes in the assessment program, as well as the student’s individual score(s).  It is required to place these letters on your school’s ListServe and/or any other method of correspondence you use.  These letters also direct parents to additional resources to help answer questions they may have when they receive their reports.
