It is nice to see you have joined our Magnet and Parent listserv!  Just in case you missed this following information—

 

 

                                  ORIENTATON FOR NEW MAGNET STUDENTS AND PARENTS

 

We are looking forward to visiting with your child and their classmates as they visit Cobb on the morning of May 7.  The teachers at their current elementary school will come with them and have made arrangements for transportation.  (Usually, the schools that attend this event are our feeder schools.)  At that time, they will receive a brief Sixth Grade Orientation.  If for some reason, your child is not able to come, not to worry--he/she will have another opportunity to attend with you when you come out that evening. 

 

One the evening of May 7^th, beginning at 5:30, we will host a General Orientation to be followed at 6:30 by our Magnet Orientation.  That evening will be filled with information from all avenues of our school.  You may also expect to see hosts of our summer camps that night too.  The Magnet Orientation will conclude with light refreshments which will allow time for meeting new Cobb family members!

 

 

We hope to see you at both evening events!
