SAIL PTSO MEETING, Tuesday, March 13, 2007, 7:45 AM
SAIL High School, Tallahassee, Fl

1.Welcome and Introductions: President Dawn McDermott opened the
meeting.  Present: Mary Churchill, Odessa Johnson, Taylor Phillips,
Richard Baas, Dave Crandall.

2.Review and Approval of Feb 13th minutes: approved, and posted to website.

3.Treasurer's Report: no report.

4.PTSO Reports.
       A.Volunteer Coordinators: very busy coordinating efforts for
upcoming events.
       B.Student Government: Habitat for Humanity Day rescheduled,
dateTBA.
          Grad Night April 20 has room for 22 more people, the more
attending,           the cheaper per person.
       C.Sponsor Business/Alumni Partnership Coordinators: Following
up on contacts made.
       D.Wish List Requests: Dave reported that the move process
carries on,        expected to be completed close to deadline.
       E.District Advisory Council. F. Leon County School Board: No report.

5.Activity Reports: Winter/Valentine's Dance went well; attended by
approximately 85 students/100 people, overall. Plenty of food, and
excellent decorations.  Ice Cream Social a big success. Thanks for
birthday recognitions.

6.Upcoming Events: Mary reported on progress toward Teacher
Appreciation, week of May 7.  Richard reported on progress toward
Awards and Field Day, May 9th. The Prom, is May 11th and we are
needing co-chairs for this event, hopefully a Senior level student's
parent and a Junior level student's parent so the process may be
familiar for next years co-chairs.
