LEON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT PROVIDES
SPECIAL BACK-TO-SCHOOL IMMUNIZATION CLINICS
Students who will be entering kindergarten or seventh grade this school
year must have certain immunization documentation on file at school before
the start of the new school year.
The Leon County Health Department continues to provide special immunization
clinics* targeting students who need immunizations for school attendance.
Infants and young children needing immunizations may also be immunized at
these special clinics. While an appointment is encouraged, children may be
seen on a space available walk-in basis during the free immunization
clinics listed below:

All children receiving immunizations through the Health Department must be
accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parents should bring a copy of
their child’s complete immunization record.
To schedule an immunization appointment, or for further information, please
call the Leon County
Health Department at 488-2223.
*Note: Varicella (Chickenpox) vaccine will not be available at either
library branch location.
