Congratulations to both our boys basketball and girls soccer teams.
They are off to rousing starts. The boys are 2 and 0 with victories over
Griffin and Nims. The girls are 1 and 0 having won 8-0 over Griffin.
Next Boys basketball is Tuesday 1/24 vs Fairview at 6:00 in the Raa gym.
Next Girls soccer is Monday 1/23 vs. Cobb at 5:30 at Tom Brown Park.

Students...remember to complete the "Before School Music classes" form
and turn in to the office if you are interested in choir, jazz band or
steel drums. First-come-first-serve....fall students receive
priority....new students are welcome. Act quickly.
Brain Bowl Practice Team will meet Friday morning at 8:45 in Mrs.
Hock's room.
Congratulations to the winner of the Geography Bee, Taltha Motter, 8th
grade. She took the written test which Mrs. Walker sent to National
Geographic for scoring to see if she will compete in the state
Geography Bee in March. Ryan Mooney, 8th, was runner up.
Brain Bowl dates are: team practice on every Friday in January; final
team members announced at the end of January; team practice every
Friday in February and the competition with other schools @ TCC is on
March 9th.
There will be a Chess Tournament @ Chiles High School on January 28th.
