Absences are excused by LCS District for the following reasons:
·Illness and/or medical care (Note from the parent or the doctor’s office)
·Death in the family
·Legal reasons
·Religious Holidays/Observances
·Pre-arranged absence(s) for educational purposes approved at least one week in advance of the absence. Documentation of the educational experience must be provided before the absence will be excused.
