Each year parents from Oak Ridge attend the annual Family Involvement Conference in Orlando. This is a one-day conference sponsored by ECTAC. This year’s conference will be held on Friday, November 5th. A group of Leon County Schools parents will travel from Tallahassee to Orlando on Thursday, November 4th, spend one night in the host hotel, and return to Tallahassee on Friday evening. Please see the attached announcement for more details.
We are looking for one more parent to attend this wonderful conference. Transportation has been arranged, and the registration fee has already been paid. The attendee is responsible for the cost of one night in the hotel ($90 plus tax) and meals, all of which will be reimbursed according to the Leon County Schools out-of-county reimbursement standards.
