January 31, 2006 - Parent Enrichment Night/ Sunshine State Standards/FCAT
at 6:00 in the Computer Labs.  Dinner will be served.  Come out and learn
ways to enrich your child's academic program.


February 1- 13th - Art Contest, if interested contact Mr. Williams for
details.  Cash prizes given.


February 13, 2006 - Art show featuring local and nationally known artists.
Time 9:00 -2:00 in the Media Center.

FCAT Writing for 8th graders and Writes Upon Request for 6 and 7th on
February 7th.  Are your prepared!

FCAT practice sessions Monday-Friday afterschool.  Call Mr. Moise for
details.

Check your child's dress before they leave the house for school.  Are they
appropriately dressed?  Is there language or messages on the shirts, pants,
etc. that are inappropriate?  Reread the dress code in your child's agenda
book and review it with your child on a daily basis.

Do you know when FCAT is?  Ask your child?  Make an appointment for a
conference with your child's teachers.  Come to the school and find out how
you can support your child on the FCAT.

I encourage you to call the guidance office and schedule a conference with
your child's teachers.  Be informed!  Be proacitve!!!

Reiminder, reassignment request are due to the Reassignment Office by March
1st.
