In celebration of May as Asian Pacific Awareness Heritage Month, the "Asian Awareness Month
Celebration 2008" presents a great educational opportunity for students to learn more about
Asians in Tallahassee and their cultures (also considering the Asian influence on the American way
of life).. This will be a culturally enriching experience for everyone.

With the variety of cultures in Asia, this celebration offers a variety of fun and excitement.
Highlights include Cultural performances, Arts and Crafts, Cultural Demonstrations, and Asian
Cuisine

It will be held at the Florida State University Grand Ballroom at the Ogelsby Union on Saturday,
May 10th, from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Admission is free!

For more information, visit the ACT website at www.asiantlh.org or contact Aurora Hansen at
