The School Advisory Council (SAC) includes administrators, teachers, non
instructional support staff, parents, and business/community representatives
who work together on writing and monitoring the School Improvement Plan
(SIP).  The SIP is due in October of each year.

If you would be interested in serving on our SAC--or would just like to
learn
more about it, please come to one of our meetings.  Due to the nature of the
work SAC does, members are asked to be committed to attending every meeting.
One of our parents, John Koehler, is SAC Chair.

Our SAC usually meets once each month, on the first Tuesday at 6:00pm in the
Media Center.  An extra meeting will be held this month to work on the
writing of next year's plan.  This meeting will be held on Tuesday, August
21, at 5:30pm in the Media Center.   Anyone interested in helping with this
project, or learning more about the School Advisory Council, is welcome to
attend.
