Subject: Special Performances at the Main Library


At their main location downtown, the Leon County Public Library is offering
special performances on Fridays, at 10:30am and 2:30 pm.  These fun-filled,
hour-long programs feature musicians, puppets, storytellers and other
performers.  The programs are free and open to the public.

June 29th     Go Wild! and Chemistry Magic
The Tallahassee Museum of History and Natural Science teams up with the
Odyssey Science Center to present an hour filled with wildlife and....well,
explosions!  One of the most popular programs last year, this one will knock
your socks off....if you stand too close!

July 13th     Library Fiesta
Come to our fiesta!  This Hispanic program will be put on by the library's
Youth Services staff, along with a lot of help from some Mexican Dancers.
Come celebrate the culture of the Spanish speaking world!

July 20th     Atlanta Puppets
Peter Hart will bring the Atlanta Puppets to Tallahassee for two wonderful
performances.  Circus Bezzercus and Animalympics will have everyone rolling
the aisles.  don't miss this talented man and all his puppet friends.

July 27th     Sammy's Magic
The summer program season magically draws to a close with Sammy Smith, a
captivating Magician.  Sammy knows so much about magic that he's written
books about it!  Come and be amazed!
