Beginning on Monday, October 14, kindergartners and 1st graders who arrive at
school between 7:45 - 8:05 will be supervised in Room #309.  This room is
located in Building 3, on the intermediate side of the campus.

From the current supervision room (#609) you would walk across the open
courtyard--where the map of the United States is painted--to Building 3,
which is directly across from the cafeteria building.  Room #309 will be the
third classroom.

On Friday we will be taking the children to the room to show them where they
will be, and we will have teachers available Monday morning to help the
children find their way.

This change is necessary because two new half-time teachers are being hired
soon and #609 needs to be prepared to be used as a classroom.  The new
teachers are being hired to teach parts of the 1st and 2nd grade curriculum,
in order to reduce the high numbers of students in these classes during the
most intense instructional times of the day.
