2022 AGG Hall of Fame
Dear Godby High Alumni and Faculty,

In 2020 the AGG had selected six of our wonderful alumni to be inducted into the AGG Hall of Fame. Due to COVID the AGG was unable to celebrate these individuals with our traditional dinner and ceremony. COVID then delayed the AGG again in 2021.

The AGG is delighted to announce that we have the green light to now celebrate the occasion in April 2022.
Join me in congratulating the 2022 Association of Godby Graduates (AGG) Hall of Fame Inductees. The AGG Hall of Fame recognizes graduates for their life time accomplishments and contributions. These new inductees typify the caliber of Godby High alumni that are working every day to make a difference. They do us proud.

The Hall of Fame committee is very excited to resume our Hall of Fame program once again and induct the outstanding slate selected two years ago this coming April 2022.

Please plan to join the AGG on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. in the Godby High Media Center to help celebrate this new slate of Association of Godby Graduates Hall of Fame inductees. Tickets are $30 each or a reserved table for 6 for $175. All proceeds support the AGG scholarship fund. The Godby High National Honor Society students will serve the meal and be recognized.

The 2022 honorees are:

Michael Proschan, class of 1977, Category: Science/Health
You probably remember Michael as the #1 High School Chess Champion in the State of Florida. However, this FSU Statistics Ph.D. is much more than that. Michael is renowned nationally for his clinical research on many vaccines, treatments for HIV and the Ebola virus. Michael has co-authored 2 books and has contributed to 169 other books, articles, journals etc. Michael is currently the Mathematical Statistician for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Ray Marchant, class of 1980, Category: Fine Arts
Yet another marching Cougar done good. This FSU Communications Master has an unbelievable number of Credits to his name. As a Producer or Director Ray has worked on dozens of Disney/MGM, iCandy TV, Celine Dion, Queen, Toby Mac, Deep Purple, Star Search, and many other productions. I, for one, want to hear about his work for Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee.

Tony Jordan, class of 1989, Category: Civic Duty/Military
While Tony is not in the military per say, Tony is a Department of Defense employee serving military families abroad. In this case, Okinawa, Japan. Tony was in the National Art Honor Society as a Cougar and he continues his love of art today. Tony is an FSU Art Education Master and he teaches art to our American middle schoolers of military families. Tony is a very accomplished artist in his own right, winning multiple art recognitions throughout Japan.
Stephanie “Dobson” Webster, class of 1992, Category: Professional
Stephanie started off as a teacher in Bainbridge Ga. She then returned to FSU to pursue a Law Degree. Stephanie’s path from there has been straight up. First as an Assistant States Attorney, then as Deputy Counsel for the Police Benevolence Association (PBA) and now as General Counsel for the PBA. As a former cheerleader, Stephanie supported Godby Cougar athletes, she now supports Florida Police Officers across the State of Florida.
Thaddeus Rivers, class of 1996, Category: Sports/Athletics
In 1995 Thaddeus was selected as the Walt Disney’s Dreamer and Doers Award winner and Thaddeus has not stopped Dreaming and Doing since. Thaddeus is currently a Senior Associate with Brentwood Partners, a professional and collegiate athletics consulting firm. Thaddeus has worked with staffs of 7 Conference Champions including the Florida Gators and the Central Florida Knights. Thaddeus is a University of Central Florida Sports Management Ph.D. and is on the 2022 Special Olympics advisory board.
April Knight, class of 1998, Category: Educator
This Senior Class President continues to excel in all aspects of her career. April is a three year FSU English Education Major, a FAMU Education Leadership Master, a Rickards High School Teacher of the Year (2004-05), LCS Reading Coach of the Year, the Glenn Howell Minority Educator of the Year (2013-14) and currently is the Principal of Riley Elementary School. Additionally, April volunteers at the Hope House. And, April is just getting started.
