1)    Welcome. Karen Trammell, President

2)    Legacy Scholarship discussion.
Discussed TCC match program. The January 2008 $2000 match did not occur in
the legislative session 2008. So, only the $2000 will be available May
2009. AGG agreed to award 1-$1000 and 2-$500 scholarships in May 2009. The
AGG further agreed to not participate in the Match program January 2009.

3)    President’s appointment to the Scholarship Committee.
President Karen Trammell appointed Paul Blackburn.

4)     Hall of Fame discussion
The AGG approved the new nomination letter to alumni. The nominations phase
for the 2009 Hall of Fame will be open October and November 2008.

5)    Treasury report.
The AGG has $3545.92 on hand and $2000.00 in a TCC reserve account. 07-08
income: $3105.00   expenses: $2723.03.  AGG approved the report.

6)    Adopt budget.
Budget includes dues, Hall of Fame, and Honor Students dinner as fund
raising events. Includes postage, both dinners, scholarships, honor page as
expenses.
Income budgeted: $2900.00 Expenses budgeted: $2785.00. The AGG approved the
budget.

7)    Adopt dues structure.
The AGG approved continuance of the current dues structure. ($10, $25, $75)

8) Director discussion
Manny Joanos shared and email to Godby teacher who are also Godby alumni
with the AGG. The purpose of the email was to increase coordination with
the school.

9) Other Business
The AGG agreed to sponsor an Alumni reception at half time during the Godby
Homecoming game on November 6th at Cox Stadium. Cougars will host East
Gadsden.
