Association of Godby Graduates Meeting Notice
Please try to attend the AGG meeting next week on Tuesday October 2nd. We
plan to meet from 5:15 to 6pm. We will be kicking off the planning for the
2008 AGG Hall of Fame nomination cycle and making finale arrangements for
the October 18th Homecoming Football Game Alumni reception during halftime.
By the way, our football team is undefeated (4-0) and idle this week.
Sad news: I have recently learned that our beloved 1970’s faculty member,
Nan Nelson passed away this past summer. Those of us that knew Mrs. Nelson
are aware of her kindness and dedication to the Godby students of the 70’s.
To the Nelson family; Thank you for sharing Mrs. Nelson with us.
