years) working to help educate our LCS students. He has influenced
thousands of teenagers to place a high value on making the grade. Lincoln
High and Leon County Schools have recently honored Jimmy by naming their
Track the “Jimmy Everett Track”. Jimmy, one of Leon County’s finest.

Sergeant Frank “Chip” Springer, Retired Tallahassee Police Dept., c/o 1972.
(Category: Professional) Chip worked his way through college by holding
down two jobs: a THM surgical nurse and a TPD homicide investigator. This
dedication to public service lead Chip to later solve dozens of sex crimes,
the capture of several serial rapists and in one case the capture of a
serial killer. Tallahassee is a better place thanks to Chip.

as a Summa Cum Laude Business administration Major. Doris later obtained
