Pagers and Messengers Needed for the 2006 Regular Session

The Honorable Curtis Richardson is accepting applications from Griffin
Middle School students to serve as pagers or messengers in the next
session of the Florida Legislature. The student pagers must be between the
ages of 12-14 and messengers must be between 15-18.
Each applicant must complete an application which must be signed by a
parent or guardian and Mrs. Gayle. Mrs. Gayle will review school records
in order to certify that the student is in good academic standing. A small
stipend is also provided.
Applications, a letter from the applicant explaining why he/she would like
to serve and what their goals may be, must be submitted to State
Representative Ricardson's office no later than Friday, February 3, 2006.
Applications for this experience will be ready for pick up in the front
office or the Guidance Department on Tuesday, January 3, 2006. Students
can get started on their letters during the Winter Holidays.

Have a positive day, Tigers!
