The Griffin Middle School 8th grade students traveling to washington, D.C.
arrived in Memphis, Tennessee approximately 9:15, with a short wait to
board their flight to Washington DC.  They landed at Reagan International
Airport at approximately 2:30 and took the Metro to the National Mall for
lunch at the Air & Space Museum.

The temperature was a little nippy, 50 at the most; and when they got off
the plane, they could see their breathe in the air.

Everything has gone well.  Tomorrow morning the group will meet with
Congressman Boyd at the capitol.  The day is full of more exciting
activities.
