Good Wednesday morning, Tigers! Our PTO met last evening and I wanted you
to know that many volunteer activities await you for the second semester of
the school year. Please review the events listed below or contact our
Guidance Office at 488.4200 to find out about other volunteer opportunities
at Griffin Middle School.

PTO Volunteer Appreciation will take place at the next PTO meeting. Make
plans to join us for this event on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at 7:00 PM in
our Media Center. We love and appreciate our Tiger Volunteers!

Our Annual Family Fun Day will take place during the last two periods of
the day on March 17, 2005. We count on volunteers to make this exciting and
fun event successful. Stay tuned for additional details.

Our Annual PTO Silent Auction is planned for Tuesday, April 5, 2005. We had
a great time last year with the Silent Auction and we have secured several
donations for our auction already. Stay tuned for more information about
donating items and volunteering for other important tasks that make our
auction such a success. Mrs. Berrian is our coordinator for this successful
event.

Also, get ready to take part in our Annual PTO Booster Drive. You will be
receiving an envelope and letter with details about this easy way to
support our school within the next two weeks. Your help and support is
needed and appreciated.

I would like to take the time to thank our PTO parents and volunteers. They
do so much to support each student and each activity at our school. It is
never too late to become involved in PTO and your help is valued and
