Want to know what your child is thinking?

To get a glimpse inside your children’s minds, play "three wishes." It’s
as simple as it sounds. Ask them to tell you what they would ask for if
they had three wishes. When they answer, talk about what they chose...
even if it’s something as basic as a new dog. You might find out that your
children have hopes and dreams you can help them achieve. Or, you might
learn that there’s something painful in their life they need your help
with. So if you’ve been wishing for a way to get your adolescent to open
up, give it a try.

Tigers Take Note!

Congratulations to Amy H., Jocelyn M. and Trenique B. for earning their
way into the Chorus All-State Competition. These talented young ladies
placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the district! Congratulations are also extended
to Mr. Whitfield, our dedicated choral director!

The GMS Youth Crime Watch Club will begin during the 2nd nine weeks! See
SRO Crump or Mrs. Jones for more information.

Parents—we need volunteers for our Kids Voting Booth! Please call Mrs.
Jones at 488.4200 to volunteer on November 7, 2006!

All Tigers are expected to read 30 minutes per day!

LCSB Parent Guide 2006-2007
The District provides annual information for parents regarding the
district, services provided, and general information that a parent can
use.  This information has been compiled into a document called "Parent
Guide 2006-07".  In keeping with efforts to reduce paper usage, the Parent
Guide is being made available electronically.

You may also access the information, in addition to other helpful
information at www.leon.k12.fl.us.  A hard copy will be provided by our
front office staff per request.
