LEON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
SCHEDULES SPECIAL IMMUNIZATION CLINICS
DURING SPRING BREAK WEEK (March 20 - 24, 2006)
Students who will be entering kindergarten or seventh grade next school
year must have certain immunization documentation on file at school before
the start of the new school year. It is not too early for students to
receive immunizations that are needed for the 2006-2007 school year!
The Leon County Health Department will be providing several special
immunization clinics during Spring Break Week. These clinics will provide
free immunizations for students needing immunizations for school
attendance*. Infants and young children needing immunizations may also be
immunized at these special clinics. While an appointment is encouraged,
children may be seen on a walk-in basis during the clinics listed below:
Monday, March 20, 2006 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Dr. B. L. Perry
Branch Library
2801 S. Adams Street
Wednesday, March 22, 2006 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, March 23, 2006 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

All children receiving immunizations through the Health Department must be
accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parents should bring a copy of
their child’s complete immunization record whenever they take their child
to the Health Department for immunizations.
To schedule an immunization appointment, or for further information, please
call the Leon County Health Department at 488-2223.
*Note: Varicella (Chickenpox) vaccine will not be available at the clinic
held at the Dr. B. L. Perry Branch Library.
