1. Welcome & Introductions – Meeting opened at 6:05 PM by Mrs.
Harrison, GMSAC Chair
Members present: Harrison, Register, Reed (FAMU intern), Gayle,
Dudley, Alexander, Anderson, Palmer, Jackson, Winner, and Williams
Excused Absences: Lynn, Scott, Sessions
2. SAC Way of Work & Duties – Meeting Dates for 2004-05
Scheduled Meetings (Please note that other meetings may be called as needed)
October 5, 2004 6:00 – 7:00 PM
February 1, 2005 6:00 – 7:00 PM
April 5, 2005 6:00 – 7:00 PM
3. District Advisory Council Updates – Provided by Mrs. Dudley
District health screenings and Criminal Background check
information was discussed.
4. Principal’s Update & School Improvement
Mrs. Gayle provided a written and oral principal's report!
School Vision, Mission & Beliefs – Motion made to approve by Mrs. Anderson,
seconded by Mrs. Winner and approved by all GMSAC members.
2003-2004 SIP Final Report - Motion made to approve by Dr. Palmer,
seconded by Mrs. Register and approved by all GMSAC members.
2004-2005 School Improvement Plan Goals - Motion made to approve by Mrs.
Anderson, seconded by Mrs. Winner and approved by all GMSAC members.
SIP Funds for the 2004-2005 School Year and any Teacher Lead Money to be
transferred to our SIP account to be used for student recognition as
written in Goal 6 of the 2004-2005 SIP – Motion made to approve by Mrs.
Winner, seconded by Mrs. Anderson and approved by all GMSAC members.
5. Open Discussion
Special thanks for volunteering and helping the school fulfill the goals
that are set for this school year!
