Good afternoon Tiger Team Parents,

I am writing to make sure that all Griffin Middle School parents have the
facts about what went on off campus during dismissal this afternoon
(04.22.05). Please read over the facts carefully and email or call me if
you have any questions:

A citizen noticied two males at a Tallahassee Transit City Bus stop that is
located farther up Alabama Street.

The males were thought to be participating in activities that caused the
citizen to call the Tallahassee Police Department (TPD).

TPD responded immediatly and so did several other law enforcement officers
including our own SRO Ganim.

Our students were dismissed on time and properly supervised during
dismissal just as they are each school day.

The incident did not involve a Griffin Middle School student, nor did it
occur on our safe campus.

I hope that this helps to assure you that all is well at Griffin Middle
School. Our campus is safe and we intend to keep it that way.
