FCAT Saturday Academy at Griffin Middle School
Everyone is invited to attend our FCAT Saturday Academy. Classes begin at
9:00 AM each Saturday through February 25, 2006. Classes last until 12:00
PM. Parents are responsible for transportation. Each Tiger needs to bring
a positive attitude to succeed! All other instructional materials will be
provided.


The following was sent home with your child on Wednesday, January 25,
2006: KEYS to FCAT
KEYS TO FCAT - INFORMATION ABOUT THE 2006 TEST was distributed to all
students during their B period class.  Please ask your son/daughter
about this informative booklet that has a wealth of information about
the FCAT tests for 2006.  Tips for test-taking, sample questions, and
scoring procedures are just a few of the topics covered.  An extra copy
of this book is available in our Main Office or Guidance Office.

Attention all 8th grade parents:
Has your child shared the Florida's Guide to Public High School Graduation
book with you? If not, please ask your child about this informative book

Healthy Tiger Tips
Fresh is Best:  Eat more fresh foods than processed foods.  Eating too much
of this type of food can be bad for your health.

Exercise your heart:  Exercising your heart helps your heart to pump
better, gets air into your lungs and gives a healthy glow to your
skin.  For best results, try to work your heart hard for twenty minutes at
least 3 times per week.
