Greetings Tiger Team Parents, Friends, and Students:

The past two weeks have us beaming with Tiger Team Pride! We are so
fortunate to work with fantastic kids and their academic, civic and
athletic accomplishments appear to be boundless!

The first week of FCAT went so well for all of our students! As I visit
classrooms, I see students who are taking this assessment seriously and
working hard to ensure that Griffin returns to A+ status for this next
school year! I want to thank all parents for all that you do to supprt this
testing effort by ensuring that your child is on time (at school by 8:10 AM)
and ready for success on he FCAT. Thanks also to all parents for making
sure that our students have had a good night's rest (at least nine hours of
sleep)and a healthy breakfast. I would also like to thank you for making
sure that your child comes to school with a positive attitude and that
electronic devices (cell phones, electronic games, etc.) are not in our
testing site (a phone ringing can cause us to invalidate all FCAT tests).
Parents and friends, we could not be as successful as we are without your
help and support.

FCAT Testing continues on Monday, March 7 and Tuesday, March 8, 2005! Your
continued help is needed to ensure that our second week of testing is just
as successful as our first week has been. Thanks again and have a positive
and highly successful week!

Sporting News
Our Girls Soccer Team played in the Championship game and we are now the
District 1A Runner-Up Champions. I would like to note that Griffin Middle
School has been represented in all but one champiosnhip game this school
year. That is a feat that make us all proud to be Tigers!
