SPEAKEASY at Griffin Middle School

You are cordially invited to an afternoon of verbal creativity and smooth
sounds.  Griffin Middle School’s Media Center will be the hot spot on
Thursday, May 20, 2004 from 3:00-4:30 PM as some of your fellow school
mates (Miss Hill’s B Period 8th grade Language Arts class), host their
first ever SPEAKEASY.  Come and join this creative conundrum in action as
they share memorized poems they have been studying, display their assembled
poetry collections highlighting various forms and techniques, and show
their love for poetry! Griffin Middle School family, faculty and students
are invited to attend. Bring your relaxed attitude and your own poems to
share! Refreshments will be served.
