Author Kate Klise is Coming to the Leon County Main Library

Where:Main Library, 200 W. Park Ave
When: Tuesday, Oct. 24, 6:30 p.m.
Attention: avid readers, aspiring writers, parents, teachers, and school-aged
children. Kate Klise, author of eight books targeted for the elementary and
middle school audience, will speak and sign books at the Main Library next Tuesday, Oct.
24. Klise will discuss her books, share writing tips, and answer questions. In
collaboration with her sister and illustrator, Sarah, the two have published the
following popular books: "Letters from Camp" " Trial by Journal" "Regarding the Bathrooms"
"Regarding the Fountain "
"Regarding the Sink" "Regarding the Trees" " Deliver Us from
Normal" and "Far from Normal" among others.
Light Refreshments from Old Town Cafe will be served at 6:30 p.m., and the program will begin at
7
p.m. Ms. Klise will be available to sign books afterward. The free event is
sponsored by the Friends of the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library System.
