Attention Canopy Oaks Parents, Teachers and Staff!

It is not too late to purchase your dinner tickets for the Night at the Oscars/Silent Auction event.
Come enjoy a wonderful catered dinner while your children are enjoying hours of activities.

Ted’s is catering the dinner for the adults and Stevie B's for the kids. While the parents are
enjoying a nice relaxing meal, CooCoo the clown, enjoying popcorn, face painting, arts and crafts
and movies, will entertain the kids.

Our parents have been hard at work soliciting local businesses for some great donations to benefit
our school. Besides the wonderful themed baskets, we have a helicopter ride, jewelry from Blue
Abaco, A Wing Party from Hooters and gift certificates from local businesses just to name a few.
You will be very disappointed if you do not at least stop by for the silent auction. The bidding will
begin at 6:30 and end promptly at 8:30 and you do not even need to be present to win! We
accept, Visa/MC and personal checks of course.

You have probably all received information about your child's classroom basket. If you have not,
you may want to email your teacher as information went home last week. The themed baskets are
always a big hit!

Ok, so I have purchased my tickets, now what do I wear? Whatever you would like. The theme is a
Night at the Oscars, and if you have ever watched, anything goes! Well, just about anything! If
you want to dress to the nines or wear jeans and flip flops, we would love to have you! We are
looking forward to this event and we hope that you are too.

If you have any questions regarding the event, or would like to make a donation, please email Lori
Mizell at [log in to unmask] We hope to see everyone there.

Sincerely,

PTO
