We will be going to a new library catalog system over the winter holidays. For that reason, the last
day to check out books will be Tuesday, November 21st. All books must be turned in by
December 5th.

Order your yearbook now!!!
Yearbooks are available to order for $15.00. You can also purchase Lovelines for your child for
$2.00 each or put a buddy picture in the yearbook for $4.00 each. 5th graders can put their baby
picture in the yearbook at no additional charge. If you have any questions, please contact Leann
Boutwell Paul at 528-2703.

Past FCAT tests have been released by the Florida Dept. of Education to help parents and students
better understand the types of questions asked on the tests. These tests may be downloaded at:

Nutrition Tip of the Week
When a fruit is not a fruit: Did you know that food like cereal bars, toaster pastries and fruit
snacks do not count as a serving of fruit? They may have fruit in the name or taste similar but they
lack the fiber, vitamins and minerals of the real thing. Try having fresh, frozen or canned fruit as a
more nutritious alternative.

Physical Activity of the Week
It's easy to fit physical activities into your daily routine. Walk, bike or jog to see friends. Take a
10-minute activity break every hour while you read, do homework or watch TV. Climb stairs
instead of taking an escalator or elevator. Try to do these things for a total of 30 minutes every
day.

Canopy Oaks activity calendar is available on our website at:
