“Building the Future Together”
Greetings Parents and Students:
What a great time the 8th grade class had on their trip to Atlanta. They
experienced a trip of a lifetime. Thanks to Mrs. Aaron for organizing such
a wonderful trip!! Thanks to all of the parents, staff, and students for
conducting themselves in such a grown up manner and for making this trip
worthwhile!!
Report Cards went home last Wednesday. The majority of report cards were
wonderful, but some grades need to be pulled up to insure that students can
pass this year. If your child is in need of assistance, please get with a
specific content teacher or call the guidance department to set up a
conference.
A big congratulations to Cobb Beginning Chorus for making a superior in
Tuesday’s festival at Chiles HS. They worked very hard and were proud to
come home with a Superior in sight reading and on their stage performance.
The comments were all positive and we are so proud of the way they
represented Cobb. Way to go chorus!
We had a huge successful buy one, get one free book fair!! Thanks to all
the teacher’s support we took in almost $2,500 in only 3 days! Thanks to
all who purchased books and allowed their students to come to the book
fair. Ms. Beyer, Media Specialist, was pleasantly surprised to find all the
kids genuinely excited about this book fair, and loved to see how many of
them took home great books!!!!
The Performing Arts Center Committee is pleased to announce the Completion
OF ACT ONE. Join them on April 11, 2005 at 7 p.m. in the LeRoy Collins Leon
County Library as Theatre Project Consultants present and discuss the WHAT?
and HOW MUCH? components of the Performing Arts Center. For more

Track and softball are currently taking place. Please come out and support
the students and teachers during this exciting time.

taking place next Wednesday evening through Friday afternoon. All after

next year, Monday during class. At the fair you can meet Cobb teachers,
