Greetings Parents & Students,

The end of the year is fast approaching with exams, trips, cookouts
and awards ceremonies all taking place.  Thanks to all of the
students, teachers, staff and parents for making this school year
extremely successful.  We learned a lot, our test scores look good,
and we had a wonderful time working with you and your family.

ALL medication must be picked up by a parent/guardian  no later than
June 2.  After that date, Health Services will discard all medication on
file at Cobb.

Announcing the 2003 Starry Night Eighth Grade Dance
WHEN:  Friday, May 23, 2003     7:30 – 10:30 p.m.
WHERE: Los Robles Women’s Club (just inside Los Robles at
Thomasville & Meridian)
WHO: All appropriately dressed 8th  graders who have
purchased  Tickets in advance.
ATTIRE: Boys – Dress pants, khakis, dress shirt (tie optional).
COST: $10 covers refreshments & DJ.
 Girls – Dressy/Sunday-best dresses or pants suits.
Cash /check made out to Cobb PTO.
   No jeans or T-shirts!
TICKETS: Go on sale in the cafeteria the week of the dance,
   May 19 – 23.  NO TICKETS AT THE DOOR!

16 duotang folders with brads and
    pockets  (16 should be a year's
    supply, we recommend buying
    while they are on sale)
2 sets of dividers with five tabs
2 highlighter pens
1 box colored pencils
1 zippered pencil case which fits
     into notebook
1 dictionary for home use
1 small pencil sharpener for desk
     use
A GENEROUS supply of notebook paper, pencils, and pens (dark blue
or black, erasable recommended, NO pastel gel pens allowed)

6-3 ring binders (1.5" minimum, hard- back/with pockets)
*-6 folders with brads and pockets
*-2 combination locks
*-#2 pencils (large supply)
*-pencil erasers or large eraser
