Parents,

As the school year winds down I want to update you on the many events that
will be happening here on campus.

Homework Center:
First, I want to thank the students for utilizing the Homework Center this
year.  This highly successful service provided assistance to a large number
of students in all areas of study, and students were able to complete their
assignments with greater accuracy through the assistance of certified
teachers in the core disciplines.  The Homework Center officially ended on
Thursday, April 27, 2006.  Please remember that if your child is not
participating in another supervised activity, he/she needs to leave
immediately after school. We look forward to providing you with this
service next year.

Chorus performs Oklahoma:
Our students under the direction of Judy Drew, are doing Getting 2 Know
Oklahoma on May 10th and 11th at 6:30 PM in the gymnasium.  Tickets are on
sale now for both performances for $4.00.  Come out and support the Cobb
chorus as well as have a GREAT time!!

School Spirit Week
Next Monday, May 1st kicks off Cobb’s “Spirit Week,” which will run through
Friday May 4. Students will have a chance to show their school spirit!!
This activity is supported by our Student Government Association and is a
lot of fun for our students.  I have included the schedule of events below:
Monday – Wacky Tacky Day
Tuesday – Twin Day
Wednesday – Sports Day (Also a faculty/student basketball game)
Thursday – Hat Day
Friday – Purple and White Day

As you can see, the campus will be full of activity the next weeks.  In
addition to all of this, we will have some special events during Teacher
Appreciation Week which is May 8th – 12th.  Thank you for all of your
support!
