AKTION or All Kids Taking Initiatives On Non-Violence will be holding an
interest meeting on November 22, 2008 at 3:30pm at the Leroy Collins
Library. AKTION is a peer-to-peer program that will teach children in 5-8th
grades filmmaking so they can use their skills to make films with anti-
gang, anti-bullying, anti-drugs, etc. messages. Students will learn
writing, directing, editing, lighting, camera operation and music
production. They will in turn use these films to educate their peers about
these issues. It is a free program. For more information about how to get
involved, visit www.reeldreamz.org/AKTION.html or call 850-745-0858.
