Parents-



The students have had a successful first nine weeks of school and are off
to a wonderful start for the second nine weeks. Report cards will be sent
home with your child on Monday, October 24th.  There have been several
activities I would like to mention that have taken place this first nine
weeks:

over hundred students participated in the PSAT
students completed the first Writes Upon Request writing test and results
were sent home last week
the homework center has been full almost everyday.


Please mark your calendars for November 15th  - FCAT Parent Night.  This
will be an interactive presentation for parents with hints for FCAT
preparation for their children. Look for more information about this
wonderful opportunity in the near future.



Don’t forget tomorrow evening PTO and SAC will be meeting in the media
center beginning at 6:00pm.
