As we prepare for the Thanksgiving break this Wednesday through Friday, I
wanted to send out a few thank you's and bulletins.

First, I would like to thank all of the parents who came out for FCAT
Parent Night.  We had over 40 parents attend this very informative
evening.  If you were unable to attend and would like information on the
FCAT, please look on the Resource page on the Cobb Homepage.  Also, a big
thank you to the teachers who presented and Ms. Stribling and the HIP CAT
class for preparing the fabulous appetizers and desserts.

Second, a big thank you to all of the students who brought in canned goods
for the Thanksgiving food drive.  Your caring and generosity show how much
this school supports each other and the community.

Third, remember that our teachers have received training on WebGrade.  All
core courses should have their grades uploaded at this time.  You may
access the grades by going to the following link:
http://sc.webgrade.classmanager.com/cobbms/.  This tool will allow you to
keep an accurate watch on your students progress in his/her courses.  If
you have any questions or concerns about this program, please let me know.

Finally, you have an opportunity to give input to the 2006-07 LCS School
Calendar through our partner TallahasseeVoices.com.  Simply click on this
link: www.TallahasseeVoices.com and then click on the “LCS 2006-07 School
Calendar Survey” on the TallahasseeVoices home page. You will be asked for
some demographic data and an e-mail address, but if you do not wish to
become part of the Voices panel you can opt out at the end.  This is a
unique opportunity to be heard on this important issue. Thank you for your
willingness to give input to the upcoming calendar.
