Dear Parent/Guardians,

We understand you have concerns about the effects of Tropical Storm Fay
which has resulted in local areas of flooding and road closures.  We want
to assure you that our priority is student safety.  In that regard, please
know we are counting on you over the next few days to make decisions
related to your child’s school attendance.  If you deem it necessary to
keep your child at home, please communicate with your school administrator
concerning excusing these absences.  We will work with you to accommodate
your individual safety needs.  We will keep you updated about any other
weather related issues through local media and school contacts.  Thank you
for working with us through this difficult situation.
