Attn: Gail Mosley

The Capital Region YMCA has noticed a great need for opportunities for
teens in Tallahassee that give them something that is productive yet
fun to do during the summer months. We would like to invite your
students to participate in our two summer programs that both enrich
their lives while building character, teamwork, responsibility,
communication, and problem solving skills.

This summer the Parkway YMCA will be hosting a four week Teen Camp
geared toward building stronger, more thoughtful teens who are better
equipped to navigate the world around them.

The program is for students ranging from the ages of 13-16 who are
interested in leadership, global consciousness, healthy living and
having a fun, enriching summer. Each of the four weeks has a
particular focus starting with Service followed by Exploration, Future
Preparation and Health. The program includes leadership training,
field trips, service activities, college tours and much more.

We will also have a Leaders In Training (LIT) Program this summer.
The LIT Program is, in essence, a junior counselor program. The
campers will be learning and developing leaderships skills as they
assist counselors facilitate fun and enriching activities for the
other campers. This gives the students a unique opportunity to build
their resume with valuable skills that can be used in their future
endeavors. The LIT Program is available at the Parkway Family YMCA Day
Camp and the Four Oaks Church Day Camp.

Registration for the Leaders in Training Program is currently open.
The registration fee is $55/week for members and $75/week for
non-members. Registration for the Parkway Summer Teen Camp is
$115/week for members and $140/week for non-members. Financial
Assistance is available; the YMCA does not turn anyone away due to
inability to pay! You can register at the Parkway Family YMCA located
at 2001 Apalachee Parkway Tallahassee FL, 32301 or online at www.capitalregionymca.org.
