Field Trips

Just a reminder that deposits for the field trips are due by next week
(11/25/08).  If you are sending in checks, please make them out to the Cobb
PTO.  The 6th grade is going on the overnight adventure at the Kennedy
Space Center and the 7th grade is going on the overnight excursions to Sea
World.  Both trips are taking place in April.  For more details, you can
view the information flyers that were sent home on my website under "Class
Community Documents"

If you would like to help out in any way, please let me know.  Details on
chaperones will be forthcoming.  Right now it is important for us to see
how many are planning on attending so we can budget accordingly for the
remaining payments.

Don't forget to buy your Cobb cinch bag and spread the word----all proceeds
help support our trip.

Science Fair Backboards

Backboards are now available for purchase at school for a mere $3.  We have
several colors to choose from.  If you have already purchased yours, please
ensure they are at least 32" in height.  There are several restrictions to
what can be placed on or in front of the backboard.  I have uploaded the
International Display and Safety Guidelines on my website.  Please review
these before you put the boards together.  The guidelines are strictly
enforced and noone wants to have to redo a board the day of competition.
