Please plan to join me on Tuesday, September 26th at 5:00pm in the Media
Center for a Public Hearing on our School Improvement Plan. This will be a
brief meeting where we will review the goals for our school for this year.
You will see that our plan addresses everything from health/safety, student
learning, staff training, to parental involvement. I hope to see you there!

Art News
The art room has ordered new child friendly canvas aprons. These aprons are
washable and are the perfect size for our students. We use messy materials
sometimes to create our artworks, and these aprons are to protect the
student's clothes. The aprons aren't perfect though and the student's arms
and sleeves remain uncovered. Even though we use "washable" products,
sometimes they will leave a stain. Please don't send your children in their
best clothes on art day. If they worry about their clothes they have
problems using their imaginations.

Media News
Thank you to all the parents who were so responsible and have paid for
missing books. Book Fair is scheduled for the week of October 24. More
information will be sent home soon. We have lots of new books in our
library with more coming. Please encourage your child to read, read, read.

CLEMONS CORNER
We are having problems with students being dropped off after the second
bell and walking into the office without a parent. If you are dropping
your child off after 7:30 a.m., please bring your child to the office so
that he/she can be checked in properly. This will ensure that our students
are safe and properly signed in. Thanks for your understanding and help
with this important matter.
